Bored, boring boring...

Seems like most of us are living a routine life... 24 hours a day.. We spend most of our time sleeping... Then you drag yourself up from your comfortable bed to shower, dress up and off you go... To WORK! This cycle goes on and on... Until the weekends are here.. Why are we working like 5days a week and having only 2 days of 'off' and fun... If only we could work 2days and have fun for 5days...

*SLAPS* I know i'm dreaming la..



But who doesnt want to enjoy and at the same time get paid... Who really loves working?










I used to love my current job as a crew... Leaving home for a few hours or days.. The bonus is if you get a good set of crew to work with, you got to thank God.. Else you'll tend to screw up la... Maybe its because being 'new' (unexperience), you work slow, clumsy and clueless... But who doesnt start out this way.. At least we're game to try it... Remember if you screw up and you get scolded like nobody's business, NEVER EVER cry in front of people.. They tend to put you down even more...


Bonus is if you get to have a few 'offdays' overseas, you can go shopping, eat the local food and goodies and have a tour around the area.

Yes, crew get paid quite abit more... But on flight we work not enjoy.. Its not easy money... Imagine serving meals for like 60-70 passengers per crew.. Its not just one meal service for a long flight... The service goes a long long way.. How about checking and cleaning toilets, being alert at all times (even though it may be a long flight), smiling when passengers get unreasonable and being treated as maids...


We are human too.. Working and getting paid.. We do our job to get paid.. Its not that we're sleeping on our job... Its not so grand as you see us in our made-to measure uniforms.. We too get tired.. Dont snap on us because you'r tired.. Someone just have to do the job.. Because we choose to be in this line, doesn't mean that we can insult us or look down on us..


I met a passenger while I was cleaning up the toilet.. "This job is not so glam after all..." And he ends the conversation with a laugh.. If we don't do the job, you think you can get good and clean toilet...


If we do a good job who really spends alittle of their time to pen down what we did.. But if a bad job is done.. Complain is being written without fail...

We leave our home at odd hours and work.. Happy or unhappy working experience, we got to handle them all with sincere and understanding attitude... We are independent- looking after yourself whilst overseas.. If you fail sick overseas, your family members will not be around to bring you to see the doctor, etc..




Its not an experience everybody can get to learn from.. We learn and cultivate better habits and be able to handle people relations better... In short- we'r all in one..
