As I was busy with school, Baby planned our celebration for this year, the Saturday after Feb 14th. So I made my way after school to meet Baby cuz he had been waiting 4hours in town for me.

Unaware of what he had planned for that day... He caught me by surprised... Hiding behind was a gift that he had bought while I was having lesson that Saturday. Super sweet.

very happy me =)

to replace my old LV coin pouch.

So we walked around town before he told me where we will be dinning at. 2 choices - The Line @ Shangri-La Hotel or a Jap restaurant at 333. After contemplating, we made our way to Shangri-La Hotel... International Buffet dinner for two.

Quite a variety of food.. Love the layout of the place and vibrant colours. Staff was rather polite and helpful.

Checking out the desserts first! Spoilt for choices

for the sweet tooth

chocolate fondue with marshmallow and chocolate cookies

Seafood
Crab, prawns, oyster and mussels.

fresh oyster - super fat and fresh ( I had half a dozen )

Japanese
Sushi, cha soba, miso soup, pearl rice and sashimi which includes; salmon, tuna, tako, yellow tail.
Sashimi is really really fresh and generous servings. We had lots of sashimi that night - Omega 3! Oh and the cha soba taste real good, not hard, cold and nice.

Fancy some satay or roasted delights?

Chinese
Roasted delights : Duck, roast pork, chicken and char siew.
Noodles: Wanton noodles, laksa, fishball noodles, chicken noodles.
Dim sum : siew mai, har kao, dumplings, steam buns...

Western
Roasted beef & lamb, pastas, salad, cooked dishes

roasted duck & pork, pasta with mushroom sauce topped with toasted pine nuts, chicken satay & salad

Indian
Pratas, different curry, rice, cooked dishes

tissue prata with tons of sugar..

As they serve International style buffet, you can indulge in the different kinds of food - Chinese, Japanese, Western, Indian, Seafood and Desserts.  Food was rather ok in my opinion, not to my expectations though, for the price you pay. The saving grace was the sashimi and desserts, the rest were rather ok..

desserts we had for that night
