Happenings in March♥BlogItemTitle$> ♥
10:07 PM
This is a post with lots of food and all the outings/meet ups all in March... =P
Remember the 1-1 promo by Mcdonald? Baby tried the burger and told me it was pretty yummy, so we headed to Tampines Mall Mac on the very last day of the promo to have lunch together before his work. I must say it taste good! A different yummier bread with tender and well marinated meat stuffed in between lots of greens.
McGrill burger
So after baby went off, I waited for the always late fella - Fiona ( my primary school friend ) while enjoying KOI bought by baby... I nearly died being overfed.. =P Walked around the three malls at Tampines before we settled for dinner at T1 foodcourt.
tom yum seafood hotpot @ T1
the 'flame' was alittle too high...
Both of us ordered the same, $6 with a bowl of rice.. For food court standard, it was worth the money and rather yummy.
my macha ice cream
So after dinner, settled for some desserts. When a girl is in low spirits, ice cream / chocolate / retail therapy will do the trick.. =) Had some girly talk while we were over at Hagen Daz. And a single scoop waffle cone (inclusive of all charges) cost freaking $9, so the bill adds up to $19... WTH.. I felt so cheated!! It's been years since I last had desserts there, its always Ben & Jerry or some other ice cream place...
Made a trip to Nam Ho at Outram park to collect our air tickets. Yup, I've just had a week of holidaying at Taipei during my school break.. We'll always make it a point to have the yummy yong tau foo if the stall is open and if we are at that area... The queue is always very long, but food is being served rather fast.. Its $3 or $3.50 for a bowl.. Very good if you want to eat something light and soupy.. *Thumbs up!!*
famous yong tau foo @ chinatown
I think the last time we visited Tonkichi was December... Tonkichi used to be Baby's fav Jap restaurant... So we decided to have dinner there with Boon.. By the way, Tonkichi is famous for their Katsu, super yummy... I remembered the first time I dined there was 2004 or 2003 with my aunt, and I was hooked ever since..

Lazy us decided to order Pizza Hut for dinner... I prefer Pizza Hut than Canadian Pizza... Their pizza is so much yummier but more expensive la... I still like pan pizza and their spicy drumlets too..

So for the longest time ( not counting mugging sessions ), finally a meet up with Ying... So hard to fix a time for a meal... Now that we're grown with school and whatnot... It was a pretty lazy Sunday for me.. I remember her texting me at about 3plus in the afternoon and I only get my ass out of the house close to 6pm... LOL!! But nevertheless so glad for the meet up, some catching up session for us over dinner..
Bedok 511 for dinner.. Wanted to go 85 for dinner but the skies were rather gloomy so change of plan instead.. My usual order will always be the pig liver with kidney mee sua stall.. Rich in flavour soup with pig liver and kidney ( no pork meat for me ), sometimes I'll order the steam fish but since Ying is a small eater I decided not to take the risk..
eskimo before dinner
with her minced pork noodle
pig liver & kidney mee sua
Attended my uncle's wedding held at Paramount Hotel, it was cosy with a touch of modern European design though the hotel surroundings was rather old. Had no idea who my uncle was... My extended maternal side was way too huge...

Had lots of sushi for the past two months.. Sakae and Itacho sushi.. If you go for quality over quantity, Itacho will be a better choice... The sashimi and sushi are to die for!! *slurps* .. Sakae sushi for dinner at century square...

Did some grocery shoppings at Cold Storage, will be cooking miso soup for the day.. But I forgot about the porky till I reached Baby's place, so hotdogs were used instead.. =X

Meet up with my mum for a meal today.. Tried Toast Box at T1, ate the Asian set that comes with a glass of barley.. Changed both of the drinks to one hot & a cold tea.. Taste kinda ok considering it was less than $7 for the food and drink per person..
