Went into Afternoon Tea, a store that sells beautiful and cute stuff.. It's very popular among the Japanese working ladies.

To the famous temple in Tokyo- Asakusa

train ticket

very friendly and polite staff

part of  the 'map'

There were many people, when I reached street level. Students, tourists, local and lots of trishaw pullers. People were friendly, but everyone was rushing, walking super fast. Which is a really common thing that you'll see in Japan.

a 100 year old shop

The start of the Asakusa 'market' or shopping area before the temple. Many many hello kitty stuff sold over here!! Japan = Hello Kitty.. Many cute and pretty stuff sold - handphone charms, ping an charms, food, umbrella, bags... Prices are more or less the same... Basically they sell almost the same stuff, just a few shops selling the more 'special' designs.

Let the pictures do the talking... =P

super tasty mochi

 had the balck sesame =)

Tried the water thingy above... There's steps to follow... Was rather confused and unsure which was the next step and so on... I think u scoop the water with the 'thing', pour some over your left then right hand ( or is it the other way ?), pour some onto your palm, drink the water then spit it out... Complicated to me... =X I gave up trying....

very nice uncle who offered to help me

still under construction

like bugis guan yin temple - divination lots

Tried and asked for a lot... If i didnt remember wrongly its 100 or 150 Yen per lot... Its DIY, drop the money in the box, shake the metal tin and take the 'qian' from the little wooden drawers according to the number. I got a regular (medium) 'qian'. Didnt ask anything just shaked and ta-da.. Lot no 68 (nice number) ...

tie the 'bad' ones on here..

An uncle told me that the good and regular ones are to be kept in your wallet. Unlike in Singapore, bad ones are being burned straight away.
