Food Review: Itacho Sushi (Ion Orchard)♥BlogItemTitle$> ♥
1:15 AM
I love Japanese food, especially sushi. Fresh ingredients paired with pearl rice with a hint of vinegar ; I'm sold..! Having tried quite a few Japanese restaurants which offers sushi, I must say Itacho beats most of them in Singapore. I remembered my very first visit to Itacho, my aunt brought my brother and I for a lunch treat, 2 years ago. Boy, I was addicted to Itacho from then on. The food was fresh, sashimi was so was fresh and sweet and service was excellent.
Indeed Itacho prices is alittle more pricy as compared to Sushi Tei and Sakae Sushi. But in terms of freshness, I would say the difference in price is worth it (if you can afford it). Oh and the prices you see on their menu is for a single piece of sushi, unless otherwise stated. But they do offer some selection of sushi priced S$2 & below.
I wouldn't say that I am a regular of Itacho Ion, only patronized the Ion branch. But I get to satisfy my cravings for Itacho about once every other month, because my bf loves Itacho as well. =D

Salmon Lunch set
My usual or rather typical kind of orders when dinning at Itacho Ion includes; different kinds of salmon sushi, salmon & scallop sashimi, ebi tempura with sea salt sushi, salmon skin with soy sauce and minced tuna with spring onions.
My say: Worth trying. There might be a queue especially during dinner time, so if possible head down earlier to avoid the peak hours 6.30pm.
